I often finish a comic and wish I could spend every single day making them. As I’ve said before, it’s nice to see people smile and laugh at the coarse, brutal nature of Rabaldus, or at the various anecdotes I’ve related from my own life and career. There’s a lot to laugh at, to be sure. If you’ve ever played Minecraft or a survival game with any amount of resource mining, then you know the heady feeling of exploring a cave and coming across a vein of diamond, gold, or some other rare material. Sometimes events transpire right in front of me, and I think: “That’s great comic material, I better write that down.”
