Last week a guy tried to sneak into ComicCon with a bunch of weapons. Apparently he was hoping to assassinate… the Green Ranger.

Why he would target the Green Ranger is beyond me, but officials were spooked by the situation and made the decision to ban ALL props at the convention. As you can imagine, people were pretty upset, especially those whose costumes were dependent on specific props. In rebellion, a number of people cut up spare cardboard and wrote things like “gun” and “sword” on it as placeholders for the props they were no longer allowed to use.

The cardboard was then confiscated as well.
