So much has changed in my life in the last few years, and there’s a whole slew of movies and commercials I’ve worked on that I’ve never mentioned here.

Today I’m going to talk about… The Gray Man!

The Gray Man was the first film I was ever credited on, so it’s got a special place in my heart! 🙂

I helped with the layout in Maya on the scene in the cargo plane, where Ryan Gosling’s character is forced to fight for his life after being betrayed and subsequently ambushed. Chris Evans doesn’t typically play ‘The Bad Guy’, but he did a commendable job thanks to the mean little mustache he grew specifically for this movie. The Gray Man used ScanlineVFX’s traditional VFX pipeline, with the footage itself shot on location across several countries, as well as several sequences shot with a green screen.

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo directed the movie, and it was a great honor to contribute it.

On a personal note, I’m happy that my first film was unabashedly violent. 😀
