It’s difficult not to admire someone when you see they’ve put their heart and soul into something, even when the final product sucks. They tried. That’s what counts.

So the third panel of this strip was meant to be a close-up shot of a ceramic figurine that Mort (the boss), had sculpted for Bish. What’s funny is, several people actually thought the sculpture was made of FOOD. I’ve been told it looks like a cookie, and I’ve been told it looks like a rice crispy sculpture. Both of which, I have to admit, are funnier that what I’d originally intended. I’m still trying to decide if I should count this as a win or not.
