Earlier this year a five hundred year old shipwreck was located in the Baltic Sea. It’s been named “Okänt Skepp“, which is Swedish for: “Unknown Ship”. A few weeks back they dragged it up to the surface so that carbon dating could be done on the wood.
Five hundred years. What a span of time, ya know?
It’s considered a fairly well-preserved Renaissance-era vessel.
In those days, perspective drawing was a new concept. Prior to that, artists drew everything isometrically, without any deference to… that word again: perspective!
It would be a unique experiment, though, to try and detach that part of myself from the process and do something… uh…
…unbound by spacial constraints.
